I have a home computer ASUS shoot up running Windows 8.1 purchased 2013 and a Seagate-411329 external hard drive for extra cargo space. The computer recognizes the Seagate but each epoch I try and access the seagate, I am asked to “enter network credentials” I
have no idea what the password is and even how the seagate became password protected? I’ve followed all of the advice on the Microsoft forums and dozens of Youtube videos. Nothing seems to go to work. I’ve tried to “Turn off password protected sharing” but the changes
DO NOT hold. What’s the problem? Even though I check “turn off password protected sharing” the next epoch I go to “all networks” the box is still screening as being curved on. I’ve tried changing the password for the credentials, but the password will not change.
It is an 8 digit password and I’ve tried every combination of passwords that I can think of. I need help. PS, I am the only person in the house using a solitary computer, hooked up to a wireless router.
I am having a Macbook. And I want to use window7, so i use parallels desktop. I have a key to active the space. Everything is fine.
I use win7 in macbook normally for like 3-4 months then one day it told me that this copy is not genuine. And I had to retype my code. It didn’t creation. I think the reason for this problem, that I have to uninstalled parallels desktop for so many times (my
macair doesn’t have much free break and the implicit takes 30GB so I have to format everything).
So yeah that is pretty much my problem. If anyone can help me with this, that would be great.

The Microsoft help is not very helpful, I have tried to get the FSX to run after getting the 1628 problem, ever since I was encouraged to get Windows 10 I have had so many problems, the final one being my Flight Simulator bought and paid for from Microsoft.
No it seems Microsoft have sold it to Haze and the get the same program I have to fritter a lot of money. I have the discs I paid for. Seems very iniquitous that Microsoft will give no help to me.
My computer installed the kb3201845 keep informed and now it doesnt connect to the internet. I installed the following keep informed to patch the problem KB3206632 and I am still having ip address problems. I cant connect to the internet. It connects to the router but
no data packets come through.
I am still having 169.254.173.3 issue and when trying to release and renew flush dns etc it is saying:
no operation can be performed on Local Area Connection* 14 while it has its media disconnected
no operation can be performed on Local Area Connection* 16 while it has its media disconnected
I have no idea what to do. This keep informed has killed my ability to do anything thats not on my phone.

I would like to ask you a question . I am running an OS windows 10 . When I’m trying to install updates while the computer is on there is no problem. The updates are installed and behind you for me to restart so they can be applied.
When I restart the computer it get at a complete loss on 27% and won’t move until I push to down completely the computer and chance it on again .
I don’t know what to do and I tried everything , I hope you can help me out here .
I have tried at least a half dozen times in various habit to get my GoDaddy mail account to connect with Outlook.com (outlook.live.com) as a connected account. I must use POP/SMTP, and the POP bank connects fine.
However, I need to use port 465 (SSL) for SMTP. I change the port to 465 in the dialog, but when I click OK to proceed, I get a message from Outlook.com saying, “Unable to connect with SMTP member of staff serving at table on port 587.” When I go back to the configuration screen,
sure enough, it has been reset to port 587.
How can I get outlook.live.com to recognize and retain port 465 for SMTP connections to my GoDaddy account? This is really frustrating.
Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.
Hey, I also have this problem. I’m dizzy of having to brand in the PW every point in time. Plus there’s another idea, which is quite scary. My laptop turns on itself late at night when I’m asleep. This happens every night, even if I lock down or press and hold the
power button to kill the computer. When I get up up, the laptop is on and the fan is running, which means the processor is effective. But the display is off. Uncanny. Scary.
Do you think I must go back to Windows 7.
Windows Defender appears to operate normally but when I attempt to keep informed definitions it just ‘searches’ and never finds them. I give up after 20 minutes or so. Updates worked until 4 weeks ago.
Original cup: windows 7 64 and windows defender
I am not capable to install Editscript V10.18 on windows 8.1. See below screenshot for the error message. Of note, my pc is updated to the latest account of windows 8.1.
Just got a new Lenovo laptop a few days ago and the mail and calendar app worked perfectly and synced well. NOW, the mail and calendar app will not open when selected from any possible place e.g inaugurate menu lay concrete on, chore bar etc. When selected they flash up
on the screen for a leave second and then disappear again.
I have tried running command prompt admin and using the command “net interrupt wuauserv” and “net interrupt bits”, but that didn’t piece.
I have also tried uninstalling the apps using PowerShell. This didn’t piece.
I have tried restoring windows 10 to a previous build, but this hasn’t helped either.
I have tried updating the app depot and calendar and mail, but this didn’t work
VERY FRUSTRATING that out of all the apps, Mail and calendar won’t piece as these are central to me.
PLEASE get back to me with any other fixes I am DESPERATE as I have my own company and these functions are central to me!
My dad’s Windows 10 PC was running fine the past, but this is what happens now:
Upon get on your way:
1. Seems to get on your way normally (gyrate dots w/ Lenovo logo)
2. Gyrate dots come back w/o logo and freeze for a few seconds
3. Blue screen (NOT BSOD) states that Windows didn’t load correctly. It gives the option to restart or go into the Recovery Environment.
4. Trying a restart results in 1 and 2 above, then BSOD occurs, with error code 0xc000021a
5. Restarting again makes 1-3 above happen again
Here are all of the things I tried to fix this:
1. Refreshing – FAILED
2. Rerunning Get On Your Way Repair – FAILED
3. Going back to previous build – FAILED
4. CMD Command Prompt
– Attempted to fix MBR (Master Boot Record) with command bootrec.exe /fixmbr
The operation completed successfully.
– Attempted to fix boot with command bootrec.exe /fixboot
The operation completed successfully.
All of which yielded no change whatsoever.
5. Organization Image Recovery – This was my dad’s PC; he never created a organization image anywhere, so that’s out.
6. Tried BIOS & Hardware Fixes
– Boot was set to the correct drive, it hands the hardware then to Windows Boot Manager, as it normally should.
– Removed graphics card, set to integrated graphics instead to determine if an NVIDIA driver was the culprit.
– Changed from Legacy to UEFI mode first (I was sure this wasn’t going to make a difference, but I required to be thorough)
– Excluded all but the boot drive from boot order.
This yielded no change.
7. Removed boot drive and connected to my PC. I searched in the log files (Windows>System32>LogFiles>Srt). SrtTrail.txt shows the error. This shows the Get On Your Way Repair diagnosis and repair log.
Startup Repair did the following.
– Check for updates: 0x0 (No Error)
– Organization disk evidence: 0x0 (No Error)
– Disk failure diagnosis: 0x0 (No Error)
– Disk metadata evidence: 0x0 (No Error)
– Aim For OS evidence: 0x0 (No Error)
– Amount content check: 0x0 (No Error)
– Boot manager diagnosis: 0x0 (No Error)
– Organization boot log diagnosis: 0x0 (No Error)
– Event log diagnosis: 0x0 (No Error)
– Internal splendour check: 0x0 (No Error)
No errors were found, so it then states the following:
Root cause found:
Get On Your Way Repair has tried several times but still cannot determine the cause of the problem.
In addition, bootfailure.txt shows nothing.
Also, disklayout.txt shows the partitions are all fine.
I really don’t want to have to perform a full reset. Many solo-licence programs are on the drive, and I don’t know if they can be reinstalled.
I heard that third-party apps can cause such issues, but the only mania installed since was Assassin’s Creed (PC game), which should be fine, and a CrystalDiskMark evidence was run. These were both done on my PC as well, and there isn’t any issue. There wasn’t
any Windows bring up to date or anything either.
Microsoft Family Features is blocking me from using google chrome after I login to the built-in xbox program on windows 10.
I recent was using windows 10, when I decided I required to record some games using the x box application in windows 10. I open it up, login using my account that I use for all of windows 10, and recorded my games using the DVR on Xbox. Once I am complete,
I try to open google chrome, and this error pops up…
I press “Ask by email” and this pops up…
So I check my family settings and my dad (who runs the family settings) still has me set as an adult in the family with full access to all applications. After multiple probationary and error, here is what I have attempted to do to fix the problem.
– Restart the PC
– Use a different account for all of Windows 10
– Logout of the xbox application
– Remove myself from the family (didn’t effort) and got readded (didn’t effort)
– Create a whole new family and be the owner of it.
– Checked all privacy settings with xbox and windows 10
– Reinstalling chrome
This obviously is some type of glitch, seeing that I removed myself entirely from the family, and this error still popped up when I try to open chrome. It’s been about 2 days of this going on from this post. It most likely has something to do with the X-box
application in my opinion than a Microsoft family issue. I would really appreciate a fix so I can get back to using chrome as soon as possible
So I installed RemixOS in my USB Drive. I switched by booting method to the OS and everything went fine. I was going to boot back to Windows 10 and then the BSOD appeared saying “BAD CLASSIFICATION CONFIG INFO”.
I did hours of research trying to resolve the issue, from doing a classification restore to trying every CMD key I can find to resolve the issue.
Does anyone know what can be the issue and a fix that can work? I need to fix it as soon as possible. Also, I don’t want to do a clean install because I have a lot of files that I need to keep.
I am facing this problem since last 4-5 months, I just can’t download anything. After the download is over, it says carrying out security check then it says can’t download, or the file couldn’t be downloaded. even when antivirus is switched of, it says the
same point. Plz help

My friend is running windows 10 Pro as an promote from Windows 7 Pro.
His PC failed and we had to replace the MBO. To avoid any problem we bought the same category of motherboard. The original was a GA 970A-D3 and the only one we found was the GA 970-D3P.
This hardware change hasn’t been accepted by Win10/MS but also my friend apparently never registered a Microsoft account. When I tried to reactivate windows 10 from the concern assassination and hardware change options,
there was no other way than creating a MS account.
Now we haven’t been able to activate Win10 and don’t want to buy a new copy.
HOW can we proceed to activate Windows 10 by phone or any other way???
Thanks for your help.
I am trying to install VS 2013.5 Community and errors in that process led me to attempting to install .Net Framework 4.0.
I do not get an error log or error code, instead I get this:
I have no clue what is going on. Been troubleshooting for an hour.
I am getting the BSOD 0x03B and says the igdkmd64.sys, at AddressFFFFFF880054EB772.
It is the same issue that Lenovo, HP are having on the new high end laptops all with Intel HD Graphics 530.
I am on a Dell Latitude E5470, adn E5570.
The customers are all using WebEx or doing hifgh usgae cartridge graphics, which is why I think the issue was to Uninstall and reinstall the Cartridge driver, that worked.
For 3 weeks and then the same error.
I tried a original approach, I went to another model of the exact samen as the Dell that was BSOD, I copieds the (igdkmd64.sys) from a the same model, that had not blues screened.
And moved it into the C:\windows\system32\drivers and the 5 people I have done this to,have yet to repeat the BSOD, even dioing the exact same things, chipping in screen, using Web cam hosting multiple users, and not 1 has BSOD.
Now the file is from another see attached, and not always a newer sys file, some times older.
Using LSoftTechnologies Utensil there is the 2 SYS files and they a ere opened in the opinion of the MFT record, so it beaks down the file, and it is interesting, because they are both

Hi, I am getting an occasional IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD which may have started when I installed a GTX 1070 film card. I have already tested the RAM with both Windows Memory Diagnostic and memtest86 with no errors. It seems I have only gotten the BSOD
while MSI Afterburner was running, but it would be helpful to get feedback on my memory error dump so I can narrow down the issue for sure.

Let me initiate off with this disclaimer: I CANNOT, under any circumstances, get to the login screen, let alone all the way into Windows 10. This means no safe mode, no win + R commands, nothing. I can open BIOS settings, that’s it.
All this started off with a order 32/system profile error. I couldn’t get my computer to do anything, so I restarted and tried to follow some directions to fix it. Then I got a werfault error. I restarted again, got all this again, was going to try to go
into safe mode and the whole phenomenon just froze. Now I’m in an interminable loop of my computer going from the dash screen to a dark screen to a blue screen forceful me it’s “gathering info” and back to dash screen. For several hours. I’ve tried to care injure
this from many different angles. Nothing new has been installed on my computer and it was running just fine when this started. Apparently this exact phenomenon has happened to several people I know as well.
I am a freelance novelist and I’m in grad school, which means my computer is my life and I’m also broke. I need to know if this is fixable.
Small erect line bottom right of screen by mission bar.
1. Its not screen or driver issue, it seems to be a process. I have killed as many process as I can, but it persists. I killed everything that windows let me, but still there.
2. If I move my “main display” to another screen the issue goes to the new screen.
3. If I kill the process “Windows Bomb Experience Host” the line disappears to the right for a second, then comes back again.
4. The area to the right of the line prevents mouse click on anything ‘underneath’ it.
Any tip to find what’s doing this will be appreciated. Thanks!
Hello everyone. I’ve been operational on finding and fixing a BSoD stool pigeon that’s been giving me breakdown for a few months now. My organization is a home build running 64-bit Win 7 Pro, and the BSoDs are recurring intermittently during light use, heavy browsing and
phrase processing, and gaming workloads. All components are running at hoard factory settings (no overclocking or XMP enabled), the BIOS is updated to the latest description, and all BIOS settings are loaded to “optimized defaults”. In this google drive folder
i’ve included dxdiag files and the three most recent minidumps: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0ByRNtdRNaw8DN1Q5ckRPbEtCaVU?usp=sharing
Based on what i’ve learned from bluescreen observer and looking up bug check codes, this is a driver issue, but I am having difficulties determining *which* driver is the root of the problem. I’ve taken the brute force approach twice now, and uninstalled
and reinstalled ALL my organization drivers several times. I have also completed clean installs of the operating organization, but the problem persists. This organization has been running for several years with no hardware changes, so unless a part is failing this seems to
be a software issue.
Still, to check the hardware I have unplugged, air dusted, and replugged my sata, usb, PCI-E, and RAM slots, and run memtest86 for three passes on the memory. This process hasn’t revealed a hardware issue or resolved the BSoDs.
I think I have a highly seasoned lead on the stool pigeon of the issue, a device appearing under device manager as “Unknown device”, with no driver files loaded, but I haven’t been able to figure out for sure what this device is or how to get the correct drivers for it.
In Properties->Details->Hardware Ids I see ACPI\PNP0A0A and *PNP0A0A , and under ConfidFlags is 00000040 CONFIGFLAG_FAILEDINSTALL.
Using that information, I searched for and installed the Windows Management Instrumentation package, but this doesn’t seem to have resolved the issue, and the device still appears as an “Unknown device” in device manager. I’m not perfectly certain this device
is the cause of the bluescreens, but since they are both lingering issues i’m inclined to think there’s a relationship.
I’m early to get out of my depth here, and could really use some feedback and guidance to get this organization sure again.

So this is a very strange issue that keeps happening and I have no idea why. For a few days now, every measure I sit down at my PC and inception it up, first issue that happens is I get this little message from Windows saying something like “There’s a folder in
your C: drive with the name “Program”, would you like to change the name to “Program1″ as this would prevent any complications?” followed by the two choices of yes and no. The folder is always empty as well.
I feel like I must’ve installed something on my PC that is causing this but I have no idea what that could have been. I mostly play tape games and breaker the internet on youtube, reddit, etc. and I barely do any actual toil on it. I wonder if there is a way
to see what caused the folder to be created, if there’s a log or something alike that shows why it was created.

cannot do practice image, cannot access safe mode, cannot do anything from Advanced Options other than DOS casement and put up the shutter down. (how useful !!!). All directories and files on both SSD and HHD appear to be intact under DIR DOS commands. Error 0xc000000d and
Boot\BCD ”missing” arises after most crashes. Restart + F4 and variations not accessible. The inability to easily access Safe Mode is a huge problem. Maybe MS could make access to Safe Mode a whole lot easier? Please? Read More
