I’m having a very frustrating problem that I can’t find the root of. We are in the process of moving our build machine from one arrangement to another. The build process is a Assignment that runs at 6 am. It calls a batch file, sets an environment value for MSBUILD
and then calls a C# program. That program then builds various embedded projects (using make), Windows C# apps and NSIS Installers and copies them up to a server.
On the old build machine (Windows 10, previously Windows 7 Pro that we performed an improvement on), this all worked fine. I set up the new build machine and it’s not function properly, at all. If I open up the command prompt and manually run the script from
there everything machinery great. As soon as I run it from the Assignment many of the embedded projects fail. It’s almost like they can’t find the file… even though they are being fed the direct path.
I’m running the command prompt and the Assignment as the same punter. The assignment is identical to whats on the old machine (I exported it there and imported in here). I’ve tried changing just about every background in the assignment (logged in vs always, highest priv vs normal,
etc) as other posts have suggested. I’ve tried running the assignment as the domain administrator and I even went into the makefile and printed out every distinct punter or environment changeable and they are the same whether I run from the Assignment Scheduler or command
The printed out error is:
/usr/bin/sh: C:\WinAVR-20100110\bin\avr-gcc: command not found
Except the path exists and I gave every punter full control over it. The punter I’m using is even an admin on the machine.
If it failed no matter what, that I could absorb. The fact that it machinery fine from the command prompt (a non-elevated command prompt, mind you) and not from the Assignment Scheduler when this exact same set up machinery on the old build machine is extremely confusing
… Anyone have any ideas on where to look next? What am I missing?
I did a resource and performance monitor report for windows 10 and this is what is shows:
It shows that Practice Services checks failed because of these two abnormally closed services.
Symptom: A tune is reported as having an unpredicted error code
Cause: One or more services has failed. The tune did not block up gracefully, suggesting the tune may have crashed or one of its components closed in an unproven way.
Details: Tune exited with code not equal to 0 or 1077
Resolution: Restart the service

How can I fix this?
The latest updates of Windows 10 appear to have removed the options to fold down or restart without installing updates (so no options in the shrink menu or with Win-D then ALT-F4). Likewise the command prompt command: “shutdown
-r -t 0″ no longer working to restart the computer without installing updates.
Today I lost 3 hours while in the offing for my computer to install updates. I had a program which could no longer access the clipboard (it does that IDK why) the explanation is always to just restart. It is preventable
to force me to install updates on any particular restart because I restart at the end of every workday anyway.
Follow up: If there is no longer anyway to restart without installing updates then I will have to disable updates entirely to prevent this chaos. (I will remember to reactivate updates from stretch to stretch, I have always kept my machines up to date in the past).
So how can I completely disable updates?

Starting on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, the familiar monthly “Patch Tuesday” updates arrived for my Windows 10 Pro 64-bit laptop.
Everything downloaded and effectively installed EXCEPT for the following:
Critical Fill In for SQL Maitre D’ 2016 MSVCRT Prerequisites KB3164398
The error, which has happened each spell I click Retry on the Windows Fill In screen, is the following
1. Is there a place I can go to get a edition of KB3164398 that, different the one meeting in the Windows Fill In “pending” queue, will actually install?
2. How can I remove that “update” from the pending queue (in case the answer to question #1 indicates there is no such masterpiece-around)?
Battery saver was function fine in my laptop. But from past few days , battery saver is not function. When i click on battery saver icon , it gets selected but then get off immediately. Earlier it used to put on view a unimportant green icon , but it doesn’t put on view anything

Okay, when I searched this on Google, people think the problem is that I don’t want to put your signature on in after putting my computer to sleep. This is
not the problem. The problem is that after I put your signature on in, everything that was open was closed, instead of staying open. This only just started happening, while I’ve had this computer for a while. What may also be happening is that the computer
rebooted before waking up, but I’m not sure if it’s that or just logging off. If someone can tell me the difference, I can say which it is.
If it helps, I’m using an HP Pavilion x360 m3, running Windows 10 Home Insider Preview build 14931.rs_prerelease.160916-1700
I have previously installed Visio onto a Laptop, but have since replaced this with a new Laptop.
I’ve uninstalled Visio from my older Laptop, with the intention of installing onto the newer Laptop. However, when I attempt to do this, I’m informed that I can’t register it as it is already registered on another device.
The only alternative option I’m presented with, it to try to activate via ring. However, when I try this, I’m informed that this is no longer supported in my country.
Is there any way that I can register Visio on my newer Laptop, so that I can use it?
I have my iPhone plugged into my laptop to keep it charged. I started going through my iPhone luggage compartment to delete pictures and create place, but when I try to delete a picture, it says "you do not have permission to delete this item". I’m set up as a "regular

The latest bring up to date, namely January 10, 2017—KB3213986 (OS Build 14393.693) was just recently applied to my Desktop PC.
When I use the ver command at the command prompt C:\WINDOWS\system32>
the screen reports that the Translation of my operating organization is Microsoft Windows [Translation 10.0.14393] (Command prompt was run as administrator)
My question is:
Is there a procedure that I can use or a command at the prompt that I can use to vision the
build order for the organization I have upgraded to? (In the format 14393.***)
This is merely a curiosity on my part but if anyone can explain in concise terms the difference between an OS translation and an OS Build I would certainly appreciate it.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I’ve just installed Windows 10.0.15002. After rebooting a few times, abruptly the log in screen contains no users, unless I boot in safe mode. I am currently in safe mode with networking.
I would really appreciate getting this fixed right away, even if I have to pay a ransom. Hiding the users is a really sly fake.
How did your “engineers” (sic) manage that one?
I have been a “windows preview insider” since windows 10 was first released in beta.
I’m serious. This is my creation computer.
Please don’t give me the “You shouldn’t do anything important in the preview builds” speech.
You should know that doing real possession on a computer is the only way realistic tough can take place.
Windows 10 is looking a lot like ransomware. Let me say it again. Hiding the users is quite a sly fake!
Thank you for your help! Rather would be better than later. Again, I’ll pay the ransom.
Please, help me fix this!

when I bought my first laptop computer I also bought Office Home and Apprentice 2007. This was loaded onto the original laptop, a TOSHIBA, that has now died. It was also loaded onto an ACER I bought and still use but I now want to install it on a new computer
I am buying that runs on Windows 10. I still have the disk and product key so will this be possible?
For some reason, my Windows 10 Home has magically upgraded itself to Pro, only of course I do not have the product key for Pro so it will not activate. (I think this is because I was part of the Insider programme and then left – presumably the scheme did
not revert to Home as it should have.)
How can I “downgrade” to Home so the scheme will correctly reactivate itself?
I have tried all the methods I can find with Google but none of those opus for me.
For example, I cannot do a clean install of Home – which is what most people be redolent of – because when I run the Media Creation Instrument, it automatically tries to install a copy of Pro. I never see an option to choose Home instead.
I have tried changing EditionID to Core and ProductName to Windows 10 Home in the registry, as I have seen suggested, but this does nothing at all. The scheme still won’t activate.
Any ideas please? (edit) For example, could I change the Product Key to the default Home key of

I will randomly loose WiFi connectivity for no reason whatsoever. I see the dreaded “No Internet” with the sickly caution sign. There is absolutely NOTHING abuse with the network configuration. My credentials are entered and stored. The only fix currently
is to give myself a stagnant IP address. This of course is not an acceptable elucidation. Could you imagine trying to explain to an end addict how to set a stagnant address?
Anyone have a elucidation for this, more importantly, does Microsoft have a fix for this headache yet? Thank you.

This happens in just some sites!!! why?

I’m having a problem with my HP Pavilion a1640n desktop, Windows 10 Home. The driver for the Intel(R) G965 Express Chipset will not load properly. The latest windows renew had a updated driver, but
it didn’t help. I’ve uninstalled the driver in the device manager, but when it reinstalls I get “Windows has bung up this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)”. Any help would be great.

Is It Alright To Run Both Windows Defender’s And Kaspersky Internet Security’s Real-Instant Protection Together At The Same Time?
I have Kaspersky Internet Security 2016 installed on my PC and recently I got a notification saying Windows Defender needs to scan my PC. When I opened Windows Defender I saw that it’s real-calculate protection is on. When I went to the settings and switched
off Windows Defender real-calculate protection I got a message saying ‘Both Windows Defender and Kaspersky Internet Security is curved off’. I clicked the message and a dialog box opened up(screenshot below).
As it looks like the dialog box shows that Kaspersky Internet Security is curved off and Windows Defender is snoozed. When I click on the Kaspersky Internet Security option the ‘Turn on’ button is not available and when I click on Windows Defender the ‘Turn
on’ button becomes available. Why is it like this? Should I just ignore the message or should I try on Windows Defender real-calculate protection on along with Kaspersky Internet Security(Kaspersky can be seen in the taskbar saying it is protecting the computer)?
Recenly purchased a Lenovo Home Laptop and have experienced major Data Custom (20GB’s) due to constant Windows 10 Upgrades and Installations.
Lenovo seems to think its a Microsoft/Windows issue, even though Windows 10 was advertised as part of the purchasing package.
After all this downloading (20 GB’s) i can only see 2 items registered in the “View Installed Updates” section within the Program Features/Control Panel.
Just wondering if this is a normal rate of Data Custom when operating Windows 10.
Compared to Windows 7, which would take me a 6 – 12 months – to go through 20GB’s of Data Usage/Downloading.
I have around 15 Dell optiplex 3020 desktop computers in my organisation. All were Installed with Win 7 (OEM), i upgraded few of the machines to win 10. after promotion to win 10 all the machines which i have upgraded are freezing at times. atleast

So I bought a computer which had 1tb HDD and 128 SSD. Windows is installed to the SSD and now there is only 10gb of available outer space, because all the apps were installed to the SSD. So my question is – is it possible to move installed applications (Program
Files/x64 folder) to the HDD drive without losing any data?
First post- I’ve got a problem with functionality on my brand new PC- this baby has a ton of memory and still there are problems with processor momentum. I accepted wisdom maybe I had a loose chip in there or maybe the cat peed into the little holes on the margin of
the casing but no- that’s not the problem. I just used up a pretty penny on this **** and I am extremely teed off because I used up extra so I would not have to deal with this problem that has plagued me since the late 1990’s- I figured it was due to the fact
I always had second hand computers but evidently that’s not the case.
I could use some friends in the programming community who see eye-to-eye that could help out with this. At some point I will require employees in this capacity on a contract basis, so this would be like a primer for me on the inside scoop. Any tips on maintaining
security in the meanwhile are greatly appreciated. I just uninstalled McAfee because it did nothing to help and I am trying Windows Defender.
Thanks in advance for your help.
I have a windows 10 Acer desktop computer which is a 1.99 GHZ intel processor. How can I increase my computer’s processor up to 2.0 or 2.4 GHZ? Reason why I am asking is because I got offered a occupation from home position as a customer service/tech bolster
rep. I was told that my 1.99 GHZ does not meet the minimum requirements. Can anyone tell me how to do this action by action so that I can get my processor to read at least 2.0 GHZ or 2.4 GHZ on my systems scenery info?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
More or less a yes or no question, because if it’s specialize, I won’t do it, less I screw up and things go badly for me.
Can it be done without applying any exceptional locks and such, and just downloading the needed files. because I don’t have the instance to go buy a thumb drive or USB in general, and all I have is my external hard drive. I just don’t wanna risk loosing everything.

I am absolutely fed up with Windows 10. I dont know if it is possible to replace back to 7 but if so someone please tell me how. I cant prevail this new OS. W10 is a joke and it it werent for a mistake that my son made when it was set up on my previously W7
OS when it was offered a free upgrading to 10, I would have NEVER switched in the first place. I debated for months and now wholly regret it.
Over Christmas break, I tried to set up a divide client account on my laptop for my kids (11 and 6) so that they can have their own area and not interfere with my material, but I soon found out that it was not as easy as it used to be. You can’t just add an
account and modify the settings, you have to create a family account online through MS. So I gave in, made an email address for my daughter(who is 11, who can use to email and message her friends- though that is all she is allowed to do, as i feel she is too
new for any nature of group media or cell phone/apps) and tried to add it to “my family” after changing my account settings (took forever to realize that it was my email password or a pin used to open the account instead of my original computer password).
After getting the email on her account and clicking “Accept Invite” the new space popped up and after delightful forever to load, said “Give us a little while to fix this. Something went mistaken on our end. For now, you may want to try searching for something else.”
So I waited, and waited. Tried the same link over the course of like 2 weeks and finally got it to go to work tonight. Once it loaded it required me to put your moniker on on using her account. I didn’t remember set up a microsoft account for her email, so I couldn’t remember
the password. I clickd on forgot password, and followed the steps to reset the password. as soon as I completed that it took me to a page that said that her account had been for the time being pendant, someone may have used the account to mail out a lot of junk
messages or done something else that violates the Microsoft Services Agreement, and I needed to enter the code that it sent to the phone registered to her account. Only problem is, as i said before, i dont remember set up a MS account for her, so how would
i remember the number used. the only phone i would have used is my own and i have yet to receive any textbook or emails to my phone or email accounts.
So I concept maybe if I used a MS email that i already had set up of my own (divide one I have, not the one registered to my computer) I tried that and it gave me the same original error message after clicking the “accept invite” link. (Give us a little
while to fix this…) So I tried to use that one for an adult one instead. I removed the email addr from family, added it as another adult, and it gave me the same darn error message again.
So I contacted customer verify via live chat, accepted wisdom that maybe someone can either unsuspend my daughters account or tell me what I did mistaken. It got me nowhere. the agent was absolutely no help whatever! they did not even meet on the issue that i
was trying to resolve. i could not work out anything this person was trying to say. it was either a bot on the other end or a person who does not work out austere english! Kept asking me things distinct to my problem.
So I ended the chat gathering more frustrated than ever, I straightforwardly do not work out why i must set up a near account for my children so that they can have a divide account on my computer. I seriously wish i could replace back to W7. And now, after for the future
like 2wks for the link to go to work, my daughters MS account is pendant until I can enter a code sent to a phone I apparently dont have access to.
MS really needs to make the OS’s more client friendly, where you should be able to choose whether to set up accounts locally or to all intent and purpose (meaning whether you choose to set up just an account on the home computer so the kids only have access to that computer,
or set up an account for them to all intent and purpose online with options like the MS family offers.) I should have a choice on if i want to set up an email account for my child(ren), not be forced to set an email up so that they can access my computer because that
is the only way to set up an account on W10.
If anyone can help me figure out how to get this set up (or can help me get back to my old tried and authentic W7- some may not agree and frankly i dont care what all W10 has to offer. I hate it! end of narrative, there is no changing my mind!) Also some idea as
to how to unsuspend the account in question would be nice too!
Thanks for listening to my rant. sorry for the novel
