I’m having an issue installing Turbotax Premier 2016 (Win 10). I’ve use up hours on the phone with Turbo tax reps and to no avail. Basically when I install from the CD or for that matter directly from the download they provided, everything looks as though
it worked correctly but the program will not run. It opens to a blank pale screen with the words ‘Turbo tax Premier 2016’ in the superior left corner but that’s it. I think I’ve tried every potential fix I can find on the net and nothing seems to piece. I truly
would appreciate some help. Thanks! Read More

I have old desktop (eMachine) with Windows 7, not connected to internet and thus not ever updated. I just bought TurboTax for 2016 and it will not run on the old Windows 7 usage (needs at least SP1 form). What is better, try to keep informed Windows 7 (I
tried to find proper download and failed) or get Windows 10? The desktop is not and would not be connected to internet, so could Windows 10 be a solution? Thanks. Read More
I’ve just reinstalled my Windows 7 w/SP1 disk into my Lenovo Y560 laptop, and hunt to get all the updates missed since June 8/2016 which was the last date of checking. Windows Renew just continues to cycle with “Checking for Updates”, without bringing
up the list (several hours runtime). I had this problem with Panorama on another PC, and the only way of getting Updates to run there was to manually install patches downloaded from the Microsoft Renew Catalog.
What I’d like to get is the list of KB’s I’ll need to download/install to enable regular updates to again download, like the Panorama experience. And to add to this, is there some procedure to address PC systems that are backlevel with updates to get that
delta of missed ones while the PC has been unused?
Appreciate any help, thanks.

I have been trying to download and install the latest security bring up to date (December 2016). I have tried to do this via Windows bring up to date and it downloads to 11% then says: Some updates were not installed and a code 800F081F.
For the past few days I have also had a problem with my mouse freezing then unfreezing. I did notice that Dropbox had updated/installed itself (the Dropbox name was pink in the All Programs list) and this didn’t production properly until I went on their position and
downloaded it again.
I have done a technique restore and still have the same problems.
I have downloaded the bring up to date from the Microsoft position and tried to install it manually but this also wouldn’t install.
I have also tried the program wsusoffline. This also couldn’t install the bring up to date.
Have managed to install the optional updates KB2310138 Defenition 1.223.3669.0 & Definition1.223.3671.0.
I don’t want to have to reinstall Win 7 just to install this bring up to date. Am I better off coming up until the next bring up to date becomes available?
I have another computer that has installed this bring up to date without fault.
Appreciate it if anyone could give some advice.
Have almost took the advice of unplugging from mains and router, open nearest chance and lob out!!
I am more bothered about the mouse freezing as this, to me, indicates a problem somewhere else. I have changed it’s USB port and got new drivers, but it still keeps freezing.

I have searched/read for several hours and although there are many postings about this, none are on paper at the level commensurate with my computer knowledge. I know, my bad for being so dense. i ran ” troubleshooting updates” and it found error 0x80070005(2016-29-T-08_33_09P)
and fixed it. there were also three other problems found (security settings changed, corrupted files etc) and all four problems were fixed. i ran “search for updates” for several hours after restarting my computer (an acer Aspire One cake) and it just
keeps running with no results. i noticed that after running the woe pistol that the search for updates page now shows that i have never downloaded any updates but if i go to “see all updates” they are all listed. again, updates have been possible up
until 11 december and i have not added any software or hardware since then.
from my reading i am confused if it is good or bad to have installed KB2919355 which i installed on 8 Apr 2014. i twig, perhaps incorrectly, that five more updates related to 2919355 are necessary but i do not put under somebody’s nose any of them installed….2932046,
2937592, 2938439, 2934018. if this is my problem, how do i find them and download/install them.
if there is another key to this pls enlighten me (and help me avoid a $106 drop in on to my tech warehouse). thank you all for considering this issue for me.

I have checked the basic fixes I’ve seen on the internet — My Scroll Lock is not on, and all of the “easy access” functions in the “Ease of Access” center are twisted off.

KB3201845 renovate on Dec 9, 2016 seemed to install without a problem. I am able to access the internet and all my programs seem to piece just fine. The computer for some reason now is in a reboot loop, this does not happen with regularity. I can leave the

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000001e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff805fdb715b0, 0x0000000000000000, 0xffffffffffffffff). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 5db4766f-b660-47c1-995c-ec60a94a455c.
I am using Outlook 2016 under W10 imap to a Gmail account.
Q1. What is the plain Outlook Data File (ODF) all about?
Q2. Why are my deleted items viewing under the Gmail/Bin folder instead of either of my Deleted Items folders, Gmail and ODF?
Q3. Why are my sent items viewing under the Gmail/Sent Mail folder instead of level 1 Folder?
Q4. Why does a deleted folder re-appear in the Bin folder on re-start
I have a sneaking suspicion that that Q2-Q4 are some organize of situation in Gmail but I can’t see it. Neither can I see any Outlook situation.
Any help gratefully appreciated.
No derogatory product comments or any gadget too complex please.
I have a client that insists on using her SBCGlobal.net account to manage both her Calendar (meaning “Meetings”) and Contacts. She needs to “connect” the Calendar and Contacts with her desktop Outlook 2016. In other words, they need to sync together –
if she makes a change in one, it needs to be reflected in the other.
I’ve tried the ICS route (importing a file), but it didn’t catch everything that was on SBCGlobal.net. I know there’s also the concept of “Subscribing” to that calendar (the SBCGlobal.net one), but I can’t find a good explanation, move-by-move on how to

Windows 10 1607 outlook 2016 – trying to convey email, I keep getting request to enter name and password
I am using outlook.com calendars – the main calendar, also birthdays, uk holidays and a mutual calendar. All have full read/write access online using the outlook.com portal.
In addition, I use the outlook.com account connector in Outlook 2016 on my pc (win 10). Previously I was able to have the same permissions as those on the online calendars when I observe them in the Outlook 2016 client.
Now I can only read/write to the main calendar from my outlook.com account, but all the other associated calendars – uk holidays, birthdays, and the mutual calendar from my partner – have only read only permission in the outlook 2016 client. It seems as
though the permissions are not being sent correctly for all the other calendars from outlook.com.
My account has been migrated but I notice that when my partner uses their outlook.com e-mail to attempt to allocate their calendar to me, they receive the message saying, “The Outlook involvement invitation couldn’t be sent to the following recipients : myemailremoved”.
Is it something particular to my account perhaps that although it has been migrated, it may not have been fully completed?

After installing Office 2016 ten days ago, I have had a couple of BSOD crashes of Windows 7 SP1 Home Premium 64 bit. The first said IRQL not less or equal and the latest one said Bad Pool Header. I’d be very grateful for any advice on how to get my laptop

Due to the nature of the issue, I’m powerless to check in real period to see if the issue was fixed. I only find out it didn’t when they experience the same issue again.
Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
Someone seems to have either signed me up to thousands of subscriptions or there is an issue with the spam filter settings.
I woke up this morning to over 1,000 unread emails and am still receiving new ones now.
After reviewing the position, it appears that someone has somehow logged in to my ebay account using my email address. They bought a couple of items on ebay and it appears they have tried to hide this by making sure I receive lots of spam emails in order
to hide the ebay emails. Luckily I realised what was happening and have been in contact with ebay to rank it out.
I am still receiving an wild amount of emails though and it is a pain having to select them all and move them to the Junk folder.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way to block up all these emails coming through without affecting the actual emails I would normally expect to receive?

The internet email pane pops up when using Outlook 2016. This is the pane that asks for your maitre d’hotel mail, punter name, and PW for your email. I am a Point-Warner internet customer and talked to them first. Since I was using Outlook, a MS product, it must

I then went to windows.microsoft.com/support. Filled out the info to have them call me back at my number. Guess who called? The scam company called Tech Soluutions (yes, two u’s). My favorite Indian girl was on the line but I hung up. I’ve gotten taken by
