Whenever I’m on Excel the cursor goes all over the screen except where I want it to go. This only happens when I’m using Excel, when on other programs, Formulate included, the mouse/cursor plant like how it is hypothetical to. I’ve tried a wireless mouse and
it makes the issue poor. I’ve resorted to just rapidly move my finger around on the mouse pad and it plant kind of after about 30 seconds each moment in time i do that. I don’t know if this is just some species of software issue particularly on my Come Out In The Open or if this

when I do Open Browse in Excel, if the current folder is on OneDrive, it takes >10secs to open the dialog box ( which is crazy long vs accessing through Windows Explorer), at which point the path in the

I found an answered loop regarding membership Excel files on OneDrive “How to communicate online Excel
on OneDrive with access permission?”
The information provided by Karthik very interesting and useful; I was not previously aware that special ranges might be protected in this way. I was also interested in the functionality that allows synchronize editing by users via OneDrive and Excel Online
including there being visibility of who is doing what.
I have tested it with an Excel file that I loaded onto OneDrive.
There is one big issue, however:
- when I open the file from OneDrive online it does not open in Excel Online
- instead, it says Excel Online cannot handle files with passwords (see screenshot below)
- consequently, it is only possible to masterpiece on the file with Excel Desktop
- then, additional users are locked out from synchronize editing and must take turns
This destroys most of the benefit of this functionality when used with OneDrive. In particular, it stops me being able to publish a questionnaire where several users have to complete their own individually protected section… unless they all have Excel
Desktop and take care to access it at different times.
… unless I did something unsuitable!!!
It seems such a mortify that the two functions (editing protection and pool editing) have not been designed to masterpiece together.
Is there any way around this restriction?
Excel file not syncing and cannot locate the same file on the local computer even though I was in it two days ago
I have file that I work out with every day. nowadays I had an issue with Office365 payment through my work out and I uninstalled Office365 Pro – en and reinstalled from my web portal account. I then noticed that the one file that I work out with everyday has a red

computer. I can find older versions, but not the most recent edition which I was editing the past. Any ideas of what I can do to locate my most recent edition of this file. It is an Excel file. Read More

I recently upgraded from WP 8.1 (on HTC-8X) to WP 10 (Lumia 950). While it’s a good experience overall – the hardware, especially, is outstanding – some things that were running well in 8.1 have got broken in 10.
One such issue that’s creating a big problem for me right now is that some Excel files refuse to open. I get an error message that says, “This variety of Microsoft Excel can’t open workbooks with: Form controls”
I’ve never had a problem with opening this file on WP 8.1.
To the best of my knowledge, “form controls” are combo boxes and drop-down lists. So I removed drop down lists from the entire set book (I had created them using data rationale, and not using the developer tab).
This did NOT fix the problem. The same error persists.
How can I fix this problem?
I am trying to put the pivot by choosing the data modelling option, but when I try to refresh the pivot I am getting the error message as: ‘We couldntget data from Data Model. Here is the error message we got. Invalid Pointer Array’. Please help me with

I have been trying to set my default apps, but the problem is that when I try to select the app the method wont find Excel 2016.
I do have it installed and I have been able to open my spreadsheets by first opening Excel 2016 and then selecting the file, but it’s really inconvenient.
Would someone be able to help me?
Thanks a lot!

I recently added a consumer account but I don’t have access to put or excel programs. The admin consumer has them installed but the local consumer doesn’t have access to these programs or their files.
how can I get access to these programs and their files on a local consumer account in Windows 8.1?
These are the instructions from Microsoft:-
First, stored your primer in OneDrive. Then, copy
the embed code:
In OneDrive, right-click the primer, and then click Embed.
Click Generate, and then click Customize how this embedded primer will appear to others.
In the What to show box, click what you want to bare in your blog. Bare the entire primer, or bare a chart, a named range, PivotTable, or schedule. For information about named ranges and named items in Excel workbooks see Define
and use names in formulas.
In the Appearance section, check the boxes for the options you want.
In the Interaction section, choose how you want to allow people to interact with the primer. If you allow organization and filtering, your blog readers will be able to organize, filter, and expand or collapse the tables or PivotTables
in the primer. If you allow typing, changes people make in the cells in your blog will not be saved in the original primer. For example, if you embed a mortgage calculator, you might want to enable typing so that people can fill out the loan name, loan
amount, and other variables.
If you want to specify a cell to be selected when the blog page opens, check the Always pioneer with this cell selected box, and then click the cell you want in the preview.
In the Dimensions section, organize a size and height for the watcher, in pixels. To see how the watcher will look at the dimensions you’ve specified, click View actual size, at the top of the preview.
NOTE: You can specify a minimum of 200 by 100 pixels and a maximum of 640 by 655 pixels. If you want to use dimensions outside those limits, you can change the code after you paste it into your blog.
When you are satisfied with the preview, click Copy. (If your browser prompts you to allow access to your Clipboard, click Allow access.)
Now, in your blog editor, begin copy your post. When you want to embed the primer, lever to HTML editing and press Ctrl+V to paste the embed code.
TIP: Your blog editor might have a bogus for switching to HTML editing. In general, use the long route for getting to the transcript editor. For example, in TypePad, go to Blogs, click the name of your blog, and
then click Compose. In WordPress, go to your blog’s dashboard and click Posts > Add New. Also in WordPress, don’t uneasiness that the embed code is an iframe. Ordinarily WordPress doesn’t allow iframes in posts, but they make
an exception for iframes that host Office Online.
In Tread 1 I can right-click the file, Embed, Generate and I get the HTML code. I don’t get all the other options, ie Customize, What to Bare, etc. I can copy and past the code into the HTML outlook of WordPress but nothing apart from the file name appears
on the preview of the web page.
Can anyone help?

I would like to save an Outlook distribution list (or contact group) in Excel VBA. The problem I am having is I get Error 448, “Named argument not found” at the following line:

Prior from having Win10, I was using Win7 with Excel 2016.
I was capable of selecting a certain amount of Excel files at once, right click “open” and they would all open within the same Excel session, with outlook of them all.
Since Win10, per example, if I select 2 Excel files to open at once, it will unfortunately create 2 Excel sessions with 2 individual and independent views.
Not at all the desired effect because I need to have the capacity to thrash freely, within the same assembly, between my two opened files.
I have tired easily over 5 hours searching for an answer, without sensation and I am getting desperate.
This is a very important process for me. Can someone help me solving this untoward issue?

I inherited a worksheet Ex 2010 that will not be successful. It has (amongst other data) 3 columns of data headed Undersized, Medium, Large, in which each cell will only contain “1”, if other criteria is met (linked Radio Button). My problem is that the results we want
are as follows.
Each column will be looked at and added up and return a new number “1” at the bottom of one of the columns if certain other criteria are met. This is then linked to another cell where Conditional Formatting is applied depending on the results at the bottom
of the three columns.
The criteria for getting the 1 at the bottom of any one only of the columns is:
Big= two or more”1″s in the column returns a Large to the CF cell
Average= one “1” in the Large column and three or more “1”‘s in the Medium column, returns a Medium to the CF cell.
Average = four or more “1”‘s in the Medium column, returns Medium to the CF cell
Average = one “1” in the Undersized column and all other “1”‘s inthe Medium column, returns Medium to the CF cell
Small = no other than “1”‘s in the Small column are selected, returning Undersized to the CF cell.
I have tried several unpretentious formula in the Undersized and Large column base cells – which be successful fine on their own. The original worksheet had a fairly complex IF(AND(SUM( formula in the Middle column base cell – but this is where the problem is as it keeps throwing
the other two columns out of wack.
These are the formula:
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
I have an Excel Online spreadsheet, and have set up a link for people to open the spreadsheet.
On the Spreadsheet, I have instructions on how to use the spreadsheet on line 1 to line 10.
Initially, when people open the spreadsheet, line 1 to line 10 are at the top of the screen and obvious.
As more data are put on the spreadsheet, when people open it, what shows up on screen is where the last punter left off, that means line 1 to line 10 are no longer obvious at spreadsheet opening.
For old users, this is no problem, but for new users, they may not know to scroll all the way up to read instructions.
My question is, is there a way to force Excel Online to display line 1 to line 10 every age it is open so that people can see the instructions right away?
