Media Center and Keys?
MY PC came directly from the Production floor of HP,I was told that it was equipped with all the bells and whistles and then some. This was done as a way to make-up for a earlier purchase. So with that said, I have a hard measure with adding or advancement it.
For instance It says that my Windows Media Center is corrupt ? even though I have never used it,
also when asked for a Windows product key I do not know where it is
cause this entity kinda is off the grid due to the way it was built ? When I ask Hp people they are no help and the Case Manager is no longer with them.So who do I get to tell me what my PC already has and what it needs to have. Also did I mention that I am
NOT the sharpest instrument in the cast when it comes to Tech -Saviness and that does not help matters.
Information about Activation and Product Key:
With Windows 8/8.1 The Product Key on preinstalled Operating Systems (HP, Acer, etc) is embedded in the BIOS in the Motherboard, so that the lost and/or shabby C.O.A. Label problem is no more.
When you reinstall it will pick up the Product Key and activate the system automatically.
If it does not or you have other activation problems, follow these steps:
“How to Activate Windows 8 and 8.1 by Phone”
